The Role
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, supportive, forward thinking team across 2 branches on a part-timebasis. There are no OOH and only 1 in 3 Saturday mornings to ensure a great work-life balance.
You will be caring, hard-working, dedicated to providing the best care for your patients and clients as well as possess excellent communication skills. In return you will get plenty of support from a friendly and capable team, the opportunity to discuss cases, to learn and to further develop your veterinary skills.
About Us
We are a friendly, long established small animal practice that has proudly been caring for Northampton’s pets for over 60 years. You will join our 4 other vets, 4 qualified RVNs, a student VN and dedicated reception staff, many of whom have been with Rhodes for years. Our large RCVS Tier 2 premises were recently refurbished and are well stocked with digital x-ray, ultrasound, video-endoscopy, in house lab, tonovet and orthopaedic kit, enabling you to work up cases to a high level. Northampton is a vibrant town surrounded by beautiful countryside with great transport links to London and Birmingham.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a friendly and approachable person who works well within a team. Excellent communication skills and spoken and written English are essential. Driving license required and own car would be ideal. Some sole charge will be required so the ability to do routine consults and operations without assistance is essential.

As a Disability Confident Employer we are keen to hear from candidates with disabilities and long term health conditions, and would be happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments needed during the recruitment process.
