The Role

Due to expansion, we are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who will enjoy working in a growing, fast-paced first opinion small animal practice. Your duties will include routine consultations, surgery and diagnostics. The rota is 40 hours per week, spread over 4 days Monday to Friday and 1 in 4, half day Saturdays. Saturdays are sole charge. We are closed on all bank holidays and have external OOH support. Part time hours will also be considered. We are a friendly small animal, RCVS Tier 2 accredited, VNTP, two site practice based in Wolverhampton. With great commute routes, we're only a stone’s throw away from the idyllic surrounding countryside. Our practice is well equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope, incubator and full in-house lab machines.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team who is confident with first opinion practice, an enthusiastic team player and shows great communication skills. There are many CPD opportunities, so if you have a particular interest or wish to expand your knowledge in several areas, we are keen to offer you the support and tools needed to develop your abilities. An interest in orthopaedics, dermatology and imaging will be an advantage.
