Let us create your dream job! We can offer the right work life balance roles for you!
Here at Holly House Vets we are keen to be as flexible as possible and welcome all suggestions on shift patterns. We would be open to weekend only roles and you can be based at either our hospital site, seeing emergency cases, or, at our well pet clinic for a consulting shift – you can choose!
We also have some shifts available during the week, should you wish. Full time or part time, to fit in with school drop offs and pick ups, mornings, afternoons or evenings – for the right candidate we will happily work to ensure you have the perfect work life balance.
We have a fantastic caseload and no two days are the same. We have the opportunity for you to be involved in more advanced cases, in mentoring, progressing your interests and even help out with some of our exotic caseload, should you wish to!
We operate over three sites; a 24-hour RCVS accredited hospital; a state of the art well pet 1st opinion clinic complete with CT scanner; and a small general practice in the heart of its community. We are well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, ECG, Doppler blood pressure, critical care monitors, ventilators, rabbit v-gels, dedicated exotic and small furry wards and well-equipped theatre suites.
Most importantly we have a fantastic team, who are friendly and supportive. We have certificate holders in surgery, medicine, ECC and exotics as well as vets currently working towards their certificates. The vets are encouraged to work together and regularly collaborate on cases. We have daily ward rounds. We hold weekly meetings to discuss cases and share knowledge learnt on CPD as well as monthly clinical governance meetings.
We are proud to provide a holistic and caring approach to veterinary medicine and work with clients to tailor a treatment plan to their own pet. We have very high clinical and professional standards that can only be achieved through our vet, nursing and reception teams working closely together.
We are looking for a vet with experience to join our team. We are keen to try and support any particular professional development where we can and would love to help you achieve your next career goals or fit in with your existing commitments. Previous hospital experience and an interest in exotics would be useful but not essential!
For an exciting opportunity, in a busy, varied and passionate group, please do not hesitate to apply to today!
As a Disability Confident Employer we are keen to hear from candidates with disabilities and long term health conditions, and would be happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments needed during the recruitment process.
