The Role

If you are the sort of Veterinary Surgeon that likes to see cases all the way through, to build bonds with your clients and enjoy working with a vibrant and open team then we might just be the place for you. The role involves a 4 day week with approx. 1 full weekend (days) and 1 full Saturday (day) in 7 a week cycle.

About Us

At Abivale Vets we provide 24/7 individually tailored care for our patients and pride ourselves on our relationships with our clients and valuing our staff. We are 4 branches based in southern Oxfordshire with the main branch in Abingdon providing OOH service by a dedicated night team. We are well equipped with in house Idexx lab, x-ray, ultrasound and endoscope all come as standard.

We have a team of excellent nurses and ANAs who support our vets and we are all here to help you find your feet. We foster an open forum policy to discuss cases and work them up to a high standard.

Applicant Requirements

Client, pet and staff experience are all absolutely key and we are looking for a vet who also holds true to these values. The ideal candidate will be expected to be able to cover any of our branch surgeries – Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford and Wantage.
