The Role

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us at Hillman Vets Cannock, Staffordshire. There is an element of sole charge and the candidate will need to be able to carry out consultations and as a minimum, routine operations. Advice and help are available for more complicated procedures and operations. We have 15-minute consultation times. The rota is 5 weekdays, 09:00-19:00 with a 2-hour break in the middle of the day, 1 in 6 Saturdays (09:00-15:00), no OOH's and no bank holidays. Part time applicants also welcome.

About Us

We have an excellent team to support any new employee. We are centrally located within easy access to all motorways and A roads. We have 6 branches, 3 have ultrasound, 5 have x-ray facilities, and all branches carry out surgical procedures. We offer, heart scans, laparoscopic bitch speys, laser therapies, acupuncture and physiotherapy.

Applicant Requirements

You must have experience in a sole charge capacity. We can provide virtual support or in branch support for more complicated cases but would need a good working knowledge to deal with routine cases. An interest in exotics would be preferred but not essential.
