The Role
We are currently looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly practice in Newport, Gwent. This is full time role working 35hrs per week over 6 days with hours between 6.45am to 8.30pm and 1 in 3weekend shifts with no out of hours.

About Us
We are a Small Animal practice based in the main city of Newport, South Wales which is close to all local amenities and only a 30-minute drive to Cardiff. We have a friendly and well established team consisting of 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Nursing Assistants and 8 Receptionists. We have a series of state of the art equipment which include, X-rays & Dental X-ray, Endoscope, In-house laboratory, Blood pressure monitors, capnography equipment, ECG machine and ultrasound.
Applicant Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of recent receptionist experience and be used to working in a busy environment. We are looking for a natural people person who has an exceptional telephone manner and great communication and organisational skills. Ideally you will live within a reasonable commutable distance to the practice.
