Detroit Dover Animal Hospital is a practice where we want to focus on preventative medicine that prolongs the health and wellness of our furry patients, enriching their lives so they canprovide their families long term companionship. Working together as a team we strive to provide quality customerservice, and customized treatment recommendations, diagnostic testing and thebest possible individualized patient care.

We have a part-time opening for an experienced Veterinary Assistant and are looking for that special person who feels rewarded after a day of interacting with clients and paying attention to all the little details that make their pet’s care complete. Our Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to continue learning, to usetheir skills, and to enjoy their jobs. Job duties include obtaining blood andurine samples, running lab tests, and assisting the Veterinarians and Registered Technicians with procedures, whole body radiology, snuggling post-oppatients, and getting purrs and slobbery kisses.

Work-life balance is important to our hospital, so we alternate evening, weekend and daytime hours.
