Veterinary Oncologist

The Role

We are looking for a Veterinary Oncologist to work alongside our boarded Oncologist, oncology discipline specific intern(s) and oncology nurse(s) in a large multidisciplinary team of specialists and nurses. With an emphasis on quality of life, as a full time employee at SCVS, you would work 4 days/week plus on-call. Part time roles would also be considered.

About Us

Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is one of the largest multidisciplinary specialist referral centre in the UK. Located on the central south coast of England, the practice is situated within the beautiful New Forest National Park and close to the fabulous Jurassic coast. Despite being located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the area offers good access to regional and international airports as well as excellent road and rail links to London.

With 20 specialists, 8 residency-trained clinicians, 13 residents and over 70 nurses, you would be joining a large multidisciplinary specialist team working to the highest standards. The hospital is extremely well equipped, with major expansion plans to complete within the next 18 months.

Applicant Requirements

Experience is mandatory. Residency trained-board eligible or boarded specialist preferred. In addition to your excellent clinical and communication skills, you will need to be a people oriented person, who is willing to support and guide your colleagues.
