The Role

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Veterinary Nurse. Duties involve assisting Veterinary Surgeons, laboratory work, performing Veterinary Nurse consultations, medical nursing of inpatients, monitoring anaesthesia and preparing and assisting in surgical procedures. The role can be adapted to suit either a newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurseor a more experienced one.

About Us

We are a busy 4 Veterinary Surgeon, 4.5 Veterinary NurseRCVS accredited small animal practice with an interesting and varied case load. Located in Falkirk, our practice is ideally placed between both Edinburgh and Glasgow for an easy commute. We have a small friendly and approachable team with a variety of interests and experience. Learning and the development of interests will be actively encouraged.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for someone who holds the RVN veterinary nurse qualification, some experience in first opinion practice is preferred but not essential. The role is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified applicants. The applicant must be a team player, yet self-motivated and maintain excellent clinical standards. We would like the successful applicant to carry out nurse consultations, so excellent communicationskills are required.
