Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral and Emergency is seeking a Board Certified Criticalist to join our growing Emergency team, full or part-time.

The strong applicant will have an interest in working within our collaborative team to manage complex medical emergencies, will have a strong ability to multi-task, have superior communication skills, and an ability to function in a fast-paced environment. We pride ourselves on being a teaching hospital, and applicants should have an interest in supporting our internal and external continuing education programs, as well as mentoring new DVMs, mentees, and interns when applicable. Interest in leadership or previous leadership/management experience is a plus!

We value a harmonious and cohesive working environment across all of our services, which are supported by an amazing staff of Specialists, Emergency doctors, and skilled and dedicated Technicians, Assistants, and Client Service Representatives, working as a team to help you to provide the very best care to your patients, and ensuring that your patients have ready access to consultation with other specialists on staff when needed.

Our team of doctors currently consists of specialists in Internal Medicine (3), Oncology (1), Neurology (1), Radiology (1), Surgery (FT starting Summer 2021!), Critical Care (2), as well as 6 internship-trained Emergency clinicians.
