We are currently seeking two criticalists (Board Certified or Residency Trained) to join our criticalist at Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AERA) in Fairfield, NJ. This is a FANTASTIC opportunity to be part of developing a critical care service in one of New Jersey’s premier specialty centers in a very desirable location.

From its humble beginnings as an after-hours emergency clinic in 1977 AERA is a state-of-the-art hospital with specialists in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Cardiology, Neurology, and Ophthalmology. Our hospital has outgrown its current location and will be moving into a brand new, beautiful 45,000 square foot (!!) facility in just a few months, just down the road from our current location. The new facility will have on-site MRI, CT, Varian Halcyon, C-Arm and other state-of-the-art equipment that will allow a criticalist to practice superior quality medicine.

Fairfield offers some of the best that New Jersey has to offer. Want to live in the city? New York City is just 25 miles away and an easy reverse commute. Looking to live in the country? The Kittatinny mountains and lakes of northern NJ are minutes away. Love to travel? Newark Airport is only a 1/2 an hour away.
