Veterinarian

Job Description

Overview

At Fullerton Animal Hospital, our hospital team is committed to offering prompt, responsive and compassionate care for the special pets in your life. Our philosophy is simple: honor the trust and confidence that pet owners place in us by maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine. Our Baltimore animal hospital does not just provide routine pet care – we strive to go above and beyond in everything we do.

Our team of six talented and experienced veterinarians is led by veterinarian Dr. Bob Brown, a native of Baltimore. Dr. Brown has owned Fullerton Animal Hospital since 1995, and he assembled a team of leading veterinarians to raise the standards for veterinary care. From routine pet vaccinations to preventative pet care, our hospital offers comprehensive pet care services for Baltimore, Nottingham, Parkville, and Carney communities. These services include cardiology, dentistry, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology and orthopedic surgery. We have on-site digital radiography for precise diagnosis. Our team is skilled at all aspects of surgical care, including minimally invasive endoscopic procedures and laser surgery.

From the moment you and your pet enter Fullerton Animal Hospital, you’ll experience the difference that our caring team makes. A team of six veterinarians ensures that no patient ever has to wait long, and that no one ever feels rushed. We take the time to get to know each pet and client, and build a special relationship based on trust, respect and compassionate care. Our veterinarian will go out of his or her way to ensure that your pet is comfortable at all times – whether during a routine wellness check up or advanced diagnostic exam.

Our veterinarians provide personalized attention for our feline patients. As cats age, many experience health complications, including chronic renal failure (CRF), hyperthyroidism, and feline diabetes. Our cat vet recommends routine wellness screenings to help detect the early warning signs for these conditions. Pet vaccinations, including FELV (feline leukemia virus) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) can help prevent these common diseases.

Annual wellness exams are important for all pets, and also give our veterinarians the opportunity to ensure that your pet is up to date on all pet vaccinations, such as the rabies vaccine. Many pet vaccinations require annual boosters to ensure effectiveness. During a wellness screening we will also perform a full physical examination, conduct diagnostic blood work, and take a fecal sample. Our in-house lab equipment ensures that we receive immediate results from any lab testing. This way, our veterinarian is able to provide appropriate health recommendations, and our pets and clients are not kept waiting!

In the event of an emergency, our Baltimore pet hospital will provide a referral to a local emergency vet facility. If you are experiencing a pet emergency or your pet has experienced an accident, call us and we will refer you to a local emergency pet hospital.

If you live in Baltimore and the surrounding areas of Nottingham, Parkville and Carney, call us today at (410) 892-1212 and experience the difference that our pet care can make for your pet’s well being!
