The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Dearne Valley practice. The ideal candidate will hold a Surgery Certificate or would be working towards one. Full funding provided for a certificate with potential to buy out of current training.

We have fantastic clients and we are active in the local community. You will be working within well-equipped practices including full body CT scanner, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser. Plus a Visiting MRI.

All out-of-hour care is managed by a dedicated night team.

We take pride in our collaborative approach; you will have the opportunity to call upon our experienced vets for advice. You will work closely with other experienced vets.

We offer a 4 day working week.

You will receive a comprehensive range of benefits including:
Salary package up to £65,000 depending on experience
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
£1500 CPD allowance plus 3 days CPD leave

VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

The Branch

Dearne Valley is a 24 hour purpose built facility with up to date digital x-ray, ultrasound and full body CT scanner and an in house laboratory.

The practice has 3 large consulting rooms, 2 theatres, large prep area, internal lab facilities and large learning and office spaces.

We are committed to providing a high quality, good value and honest veterinary service to all pets, both day and night.

South Yorkshire is the gateway to the beautiful peak district. Once an industrial heartland, the region has been transformed and boasts excellent facilities for music, sport, culture and outdoor activities.

The famous city of Sheffield brings a large variety of shops, places to eat, theatres and the Millennium Gallery, where you can enjoy art, craft and design.
