The Role
We have an exciting opening for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The role involves working closely with the rest of the team on a day to day basis, providing clinical support and guidance where needed. You should be an experienced and competent Veterinary Surgeon who is willing to lead the team in clinical matters and help in their development. The role involves a 4-day week (8:30-7) and a share of Saturdays, with time given back for Saturday hours. No OOH.
About Us
We are a growing practice with great facilities including 3 consult rooms, cat ward, dog ward, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and access to endoscope if needed. We are proud to run a new pet blood bank service and work closely with two local cat charities. We hold the ISFM silver award for cat care and the IVC Evidensia patient safety award.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated veterinary surgeon who can thrive in our high-quality practice. You will relate to our core principles of quality, integrity, responsibility and growth, fitting seamlessly alongside our friendly practice teams as you work with team to provide a quality experience for pet owner and pets alike. Ideally you should have a number of years’ post qualification experience in UK Small Animal practice, to enable you to hit the ground running.
