The Role

We are currently looking for a Roving Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Grove Lodge Veterinary Group in Worthing, West Sussex. You will be able to do routine surgery, dentistry and consultations. The role will involve working 4 days per week (9 hours), plus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings and 1 in 10 full weekends, this can be at any of our 6 branches (Brighton, Portslade, Southwick, Lancing, Tarring, Durrington) and the Hospital (Worthing). You will be working within a fast paced and friendly team, with support from experienced nurses and veterinary care assistants.

About Us

We are a 24/7 Hospital founded in 1958 and now part of a larger group; IVC Evidensia. We have approximately 100 team members across 7 sites. Our specialist services include diagnostic imaging with on-site CT, orthopaedics, cardiology, soft tissue medicine and internal medicine. We also have an on-site laboratory, staff training room and a staff break room for that much needed cup of tea!

Applicant Requirements

You will have small animal experience and be motivated, caring and dedicated to providing gold standard veterinary care. You will enjoy a mixture of both consults and surgeries and be flexible in your approach to work. You are required to have a high standard of verbal and written English. Experience of working within a hospital environment is desirable but not essential.
