The Role

We are currently looking for 2 rotating Veterinary Nurses to join our team in Ringwood, Hampshire. This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week over 5 days with a 1 in 5 weekends and time off in lieu of weekend shift. This position would be suitable for anyone looking to expand their knowledge and skills in all aspects of veterinary nursing. The role involves rotation through many of the departments within the hospital including Medicine, Neurology, Wards, Surgery, and Imaging. This permits the individual to gain experience with advanced procedures and the treatment of complex cases whilst being supported by our discipline specific nurses.

Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is a multidisciplinary referral centre currently undergoing extensive expansion and improvement of the facilities. The practice is located in the South of England close to the New Forest National Park and South Coast offering easy access to a multitude of outdoor activities. Bournemouth beach has just been voted number one beach in the UK by TripAdvisor and is a 20-minute drive from the practice. The area offers good access to regional and international airports and has excellent road and rail links to London. Applicant Requirements

Our ideal candidate must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with previous referral experience being preferable but not necessary, as full training will be provided.
