The Role

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our successful partnership, Zasman Vet in our lovely Temple Fortune branch.

Salary and hours

This role offers a salary of £25,000 per annum depending on experience. £300 CPD allowance and 2-days CPD leave, RCVS and BVNA membership. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Hours are 40 per week with 1:3 half weekends with time bank in lieu. We work to a mixture of the following shifts 08:30-17:00, 09:30 – 18:00 and 11:00-19:30.

You will be included on our bank holiday rota and on-call rota, should our night team require additional support – fair share across all nurses in the region.

Key Accountabilities

Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

The Branch

Temple Fortune is a new branch (1.5 years old) and has already become a busy and thriving clinic.

We have a fantastic team led by the Lead Vet who is well respected in the local community and has built up a strong client base. The nursing team is made up of the Head Nurse, RVN (that’s you!) and two PCA’s.

The surgery is in a great location on the Finchley Road – in a parade of shops, cafes and restaurants – with a prominent shop front and spacious reception, consult, prep and theatre.

There is free parking and also easy transport links.
