Job Type: Part-time
Hours: 2 nights per week plus weekend rotation / 7pm-1am or 4pm – 1am
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual that enjoys being part of a small night team and have a particular interest in wards based nursing care. The right candidate should have a good understanding and be interested in learning about the nursing interventions, rehabilitation techniques and the drugs required for patients referred to this multidisciplinary practice. This role denotes the high standard of nursing care that we strive to achieve as a 24-hour hospital.
Hours: Averaging 40 hours per week
Rotation: 3 shifts per week; this Includes a 1:5 weekend rotation
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate veterinary nurse who can provide advanced wards based nursing care to patients referred to our multidisciplinary hospital. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with high attention to detail and an empathetic approach to patient care. This position is perfect for those who wish to develop their nursing knowledge and skills within a supportive team environment.
We are looking for a registered veterinary nurse with a desire to specialise in providing care and treatment to patients with cancer. Working alongside the oncologist, interns and nursing team the job requires you to assess patients’ health and develop plans to care for each individual specific requirements. You will be involved in calculating and administering treatments to patients and play a key role in educating and providing support to owners of the patients under our care.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Rotation: Monday – Friday; this includes a 1:5 weekend rotation
This position would be suitable for anyone looking to expand their knowledge and skills in all aspects of nursing. You would be rotating through all areas of our multidisciplinary referral practice, including surgery, wards, imaging and neurology. Additionally, we actively encourage employees to develop new skills through the advanced nursing diploma, VTS and certificates.
