The Role

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse or Y3 Student Veterinary Nurse soon to qualify, to join the team at Medivet Hyde Park.

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas. Hyde Park is a unique practice as has a holistic approach and can also offer homeopath services.

This role offers a RVN salary of £22,288 – £25,584 per annum plus £2000 London weighting, £300 CPD allowance plus 2 days leave, RCVS and BVNA membership (package depending on experience and qualification)

This is a full time permanent position, covering 40 hours per week (depending on your qualification status). You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:4 full weekends at Medivet Kensington 24hour Hospital with time back in lieu.

Skills and Experience

Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

Alternatively, we can also consider a third year Student Veterinary Nurse who is already enrolled in college who will soon be qualified.

The Branch

Located in the luxury retail quarter of Connaught Village, right on Hyde Park’s doorstep. This is a lovely clinic with onsite groomer and pet boutique. It has a fantastic team made up of two Veterinary Surgeons, HRVN and team of practice support staff.
