The Role

This role is to join our friendly team, of 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse soon to be 2! With our current students at different points in their training. A normal day would be monitoring anaesthetic’s in a range of species, monitoring recovery, running blood samples and sending external samples, and monitoring recovering patients. Currently we are unable to offer many nurse clinics, but this would be something we would be keen to increase. We are very keen to support and encourage CPD with the use of lunch and learns. Full time or part time role, we are flexible for the right candidate. 1:3 Saturday mornings, and 4 on call weekends a year.

About Us

We are very lucky to have a very modern open setting, with a naturally lighted large prep area. We have a separate kennel area for dogs and cats. A spacious reception area with a well-stocked shop area. We are also have a lovely grooming team attached to the practice. A large off-road car park to the rear of the practice with a large grassed area to allow patients to walk outside.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse Registered with the RCVS. Experience would be an advantage, but we would also be willing to support a newly qualified RVN. The ability to monitor anaesthetic’s, hold animals and a promote a good level of cleanliness throughout the practice. The ability to communicate with a range of clients even in difficult situations.
