As part of your role here at Riverside Veterinary Centre you will be involved in theatre and imaging work, anaesthetics, nurse clinics, general stock/maintenance/promotion of the practice and much more. We anticipate that your individual clinical knowledge will improve steadily. This is a full-time or part-time role of between 32-38 hours per week working between the opening hours of 8.00am as the earliest start to 7pm as the latest finish. There is also one Saturday morning to work every other week.
We have been established since 1992 and take pride in our case continuity and client base. We provide first opinion treatments with quality care, with well-equipped on-site facilities and lots of returning customers who want that friendly team feel. Riverside is a modern, well equipped practice with theatre and lab facilities, as well as 3 bright consulting rooms. You will be supported by all staff including; 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Vets, 1 Receptionist and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse.
You will be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and ideally have some post qualification experience in small animal practice. You will be comfortable with all areas of general practice work – nurse consults, in patients and also ops. You should enjoy client interaction and have a good telephone manner, as you will be required to build good rapport with our clients. We welcome applicants from all experience levels and are especially keen on developing specialist nurse clinics and case continuity.
