Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to complete our team. The role includes the monitoring of anaesthetics and general nursing skills – including fluid therapy, blood taking, wound management, post op monitoring. Work in the laboratory, both cat ward and kennels, administering medication and providing nutrition to a range of species with a variety of diseases and illnesses. You will be expected to work/assist in all areas of the practice and be flexible with hours. The rota is a 40 hour week, working 8 hours a day. We offer no out of hours or on call and 1 in 5 weekends.

About Us

We are a well-established, small animal, two tier RCVS training practice with a range of equipment including Doppler Ultrasound and multi parameter equipment. All on call and out of hours are provided by Vets Now – we are the Vets Now host practice. We are a friendly team including 6 RVN's, 3 SVN's, 4 ACA's and 10 vets. Situated in North Wales, close to Snowdonia National Park, centrally located with easy access to motorways.

The preferred candidate will be a committed, enthusiastic, and hard-working Registered Veterinary Nurse who is a proactive team player keen to improve their surgical skills and deliver a high standard of veterinary nursing care.
