The Role

Looking for the next opportunity? An exciting position has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised and dynamic Registered Veterinary Nurse to work full-time This is a full-time position 39 hours a week over 4 or 4.5 days, although flexible or part-time working hours considered. Weekend work is 1 in 6, working 8:30-5:00 Saturday and 9:00-1:00 Sunday, with time off after a weekend on. Our OOHs are covered by VetsNow but we do shared Inpatient duties within the team – normally one evening a week and your rota'd weekend to work.

About Us

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our progressive first opinion, small animal practice. Oundle Veterinary Surgery is well-equipped and self-sufficient site, part of Sampson Park Group. Sampson Park Group consists of 5 sites, one of which offers referral streams alongside first opinion care.

Applicant Requirements

The successful candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse, or high calibre second year student, with excellent communication skills, be hard-working and self-motivated. You will work alongside our existing team 4 Veterinary Surgeon, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and a team of Receptionists within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Your duties will be varied and we actively support and encourage Schedule 3 development.
