The Role

We are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team in Skipton, North Yorkshire. This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week with a 1:8 weekend and out of hours rota. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of nursing care including clinics and in-patient care before, during and after surgery.

We are a friendly, forward thinking small animal practice with RCVS Accredited Hospital Status who truly appreciate all our team. Our surgery is modern with all the equipment you would expect including in-house lab, digital x-ray, endoscopy, ECG, ultrasound with colour flow doppler. Located in the market town of Skipton, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, we are proud to have been supporting the local community and their pets for over 80 years. Combining a traditional ethos of care with progressive modern medicine.
We have certificate holders within our team who take referrals for orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery and cardiology. The work is varied with Vets and Nurses working together to provide excellent veterinary care.

Applicant Requirements

We are seeking a top class Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our hardworking team. You must be able to work as part of a team and able to also work on your own. You will need to be a good communicator who is flexible in your approach to what is happening around you to adapt to changing situations.
