The Role

We are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team in Cheshire. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday and 1 in 7 weekends which will be paid as overtime. There will be no out of hours required for this role.
Whether on ward, surgery, admitting and discharging patients, nurse clinics or assisting the vets in prep/consult, your day will be challenging but enjoyable! We pride ourselves on our patient and customer care and supporting the reception team is essential by answering the telephone and assisting with customer queries. We will be looking to re-introduce our nurse clinics soon after lockdown restrictions lift and are looking for someone with new ideas to expand our offering for customers and pets alike.

About Us

We are a friendly, customer service focused practice located in Frodsham in the beautiful Cheshire Countryside. Close to Chester and Liverpool and the M56 motorway, we attract clients from far and wide. We are equipped with digital X-ray, Ultrasound and in house laboratory with Idexx Lasercyte, Catalyst and Snapshot. We are an extremely busy practice with a large client base, with nearly 2,000 pets on our Pet Health club.
We have a team of 7 Friendly Vets (6 full time and 1 part time) and 5 fabulous Registered Veterinary Nurses (3 full time and 2 part time), 2 fantastic Animal Nursing Assistants (Full time) and an Amazing Reception team. We all pride ourselves on our high standard of patient and client care and will always try to go that extra mile to help and support other members of the team, clients, and patients alike.

Applicant Requirements

Our ideal candidate must be an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse, preferably from a Small animal background. You must be comfortable with all aspects of veterinary nursing and confident dealing with clients on a regular basis. We are looking for someone with a passion for patient and client care, who can multitask with ease and is flexible in day-to-day responsibilities.
