The Role

We are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team in Livingston. This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week over 5 days per week and 2 in 8 Saturdays with a day off in lieu and paid breaks. Our Veterinary Nurses are involved in a varied rota including theatre shifts, in patients, consulting and pharmacy shifts. We always encourage our Veterinary Nurses to use all of their skills in our busy practice and actively encourage CPD.

About Us

We are a purpose built and well-equipped modern clinic (digital and dental x-ray, laser therapy, ultrasound, in house lab, full surgical and dental facilities) situated in a lovely area within easy commute for Glasgow and Edinburgh. We are a well-established RCVS accredited small animal practice with a fantastic team of 14 Veterinary Nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants and 9 Veterinary Surgeons. Our team is friendly and supportive who all work well together. There are several Veterinary Surgeons with specialist certificates (medicine and surgery) and Veterinary Nurses with specialist interests and certificates including Feline medicine, ECC, Anaesthesia, Behaviour, Wildlife, and clinical coaching.

Applicant Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be experienced, as we are busy practice. We are looking for a Veterinary Nurse who can contribute to our team, is able to work independently and is resilient enough to retain a sense of humour, even in exceptionally busy times.
