The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us at our Rubery branch in Birmingham. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days Monday to Friday with one late shift per week. Duties for this role include but are not limited to:
• Nurse clinics
• Lab work
• Varied kennel requirements
• Varied theatre requirements
• Maintaining stock levels
• Ensuring the smooth running of the practice

As one of our branch practices, this role may suit a more experienced Veterinary Nurse who is comfortable taking a lead role in the day to day running and development of the culture and structure of the branch.

About Us

Established in 1996, Clent Hills Veterinary Group are a friendly & compassionate group with 3 practices and a pet fitness & rehab centre in Worcestershire. We provide a 24/7 out of hours service from our Bromsgrove practice for the local area. We have a happy, forward-thinking team of Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses, and support team as well as state-of-the-art facilities. Our facilities include sterile operating theatres, separate dog/cat kennels, digital x-ray, digital ICU, and isolation facilities at our hospital in Bromsgrove and all 3 of our practices have ultrasound and endoscopy equipment.

As a practice, we are very client-focused and strive to constantly excel in customer service.Our Rubery team consists of 1 Veterinary Surgeon, 1 Veterinary Nurse, 1 Animal Nursing Assistant and 1 receptionist, who are a very fun, friendly team to work with. Our Veterinary Nurses are used to their full capacity during the working day and are encouraged to specialise in their chosen areas with a generous CPD allowance.

Applicant Requirements

Our ideal candidate must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS. Experience and confidence are required in order to take a lead role in the day to day running of our Rubery branch.
