The Role

Here at Leonard Veterinary Centre, we have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and hardworking Nantwich team.

Your role as an RVN at Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre will include all aspects of first opinion nursing including, but not limited too; monitoring of anaesthetics, Nursing sick animals, administering medication, taking x-rays and carrying out diagnostic tests, nurse clinics, and you will regularly be able to use your schedule 3 skills. Your role will be a varied one and you will work/assist in all areas of the practice.

The rota;
· 5 days per week
· Shifts: 8:30am – 4:30pm or 10:30am – 6:30pm
· Saturday mornings only (9 per year)
· 1 in 7 weeknights on call (3 weekends on call per year)

About Us

Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre are an established 3 branch small animal Veterinary group. We recently opened a purpose built new Veterinary practice and are blessed with ample onsite parking.

You will have access to onsite digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, blood pressure and ECG
We see a varied caseload and no two days are the same! We see a mixture of routine, first opinion and emergency cases. We are lucky to have a really fantastic growing client base.”

Here at Leonard Brothers Nantwich we have a fantastic team of 2 Certificate holding Vets and 2 nurses one of which has nurse certificates in Emergency and Critical Care and also Anaesthesia. They are supported by two full time experienced Receptionists. As a team we all work really well together and are always keen to support each other! Although we are all passionate about very high standards and we are a busy team, we are never short of tea and biscuits and a good laugh.

Applicant Requirements

The successful candidate will be a committed, enthusiastic, and hard-working. You will be a Registered & qualified Veterinary Nurse who is a proactive team player and who will deliver a high standard of veterinary nursing care.
