The Role

We are looking for a part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Catley Cross Veterinary Clinic. You will be joining a team of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 experienced Veterinary Nurses and several kennel assistants. The role will encompass all elements of small animal nursing, shared amongst the nursing team, including theatre, kennels/recovery, assisting with consults and laboratory work. This is a part time role working 16-20 hours per week over 2-3 days with a variable shift pattern between 8am-7pm. You will contribute to the out of hours rota which is currently 1:6 weekends and 1:6 Saturday mornings. Vets NOW cover our out of hours after 7pm weekdays, 4pm Saturdays and 12 noon on Sundays.

About Us

We are a busy small animal and equine rural practice located on the Essex Suffolk borders with a friendly and supportive team with a collaborative approach. You will be joining a larger practice all working from the same site. We are equipped with usual diagnostics, ultrasound/CR radiography/endoscopy, visiting peripatetic medics/ophthalmologist.

Applicant Requirements

Our ideal candidate must be a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse who can work well as a team with excellent communication skills both with their colleagues and clients alike.
