The Role

We are looking for a hard-working Registered Veterinary Nurse who prides themselves on providing high standards of patient and client care to join our friendly team in Bath. This is a full time role working 35 hours per week over 4 days with every Friday off. You will work every other Saturday morning and 1 bank holiday per year with no other out of hour duties. A successful applicant will be keen to develop nurse clinics, be confident at anaesthesia, and happy to help with the daily running of the surgery. This practice benefits from the support of an experienced second full time Registered Veterinary Nurse.

About Us

We are located in a popular area of Bath which benefits from local independent shops in easy walking distance. Station Road is a busy first opinion practice offering both consultations and operations daily throughout the week. We have two consulting rooms, a fully equipped operating theatre, x-ray facilities and practice laboratory. The team at Station Road are very friendly and pride themselves on their welcoming service. We also benefit from the support of our 24-hour first opinion and referral hospital in Bath. Station Road is the largest branch practice in Bath Vet Group and the team consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 Veterinary Nurses, and a reception team. Each day there will be a dedicated consulting Veterinary Surgeons and an additional Veterinary Surgeon in the mornings to perform operations.

Applicant Requirements

This role would suit a Registered Veterinary Nurse with previous branch experience who enjoys client facing and excels working in a close team. Applicants must be confident in performing nurse clinics and have good communication skills. This role is essential for bonding clients with the practice and therefore applicants must be willing to form a close working relationship with clients.
