The Role

We are looking for a Newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us in our busy 1st opinion small animal veterinary practice in Southampton. This is a full-time role working 35-40 hours a week over 4.5 days. This is a busy and varied role, and you will use your nursing skills to their full potential including theatre work and nurse consults. You will be working with a highly experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses, and support staff to develop your skills.

About Us

We are a friendly, well established first opinion practice with a highly experienced team of both Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses and Receptionists. Located only a short distance from the lovely new forest and from the relaxing coast lines there is plenty to do when not at work. Equipment includes digital x-ray, a modern ultrasound machine, tonopen and full in-house laboratory equipment. We are a friendly team with a great work ethic, and you will often find that baked treats feature in the staff room as we have some keen bakers in the team. You will be working alongside 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 5 Receptionists, 1 Practice Manager and 1 Clinical Director.

Our ideal candidate will have a good sense of humour, remain calm under pressure, and enjoy a busy environment. You will enjoy working as a team, be keen to learn but most importantly you must LOVE what you do!
