Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful team. You will be assisting vets and nurses, running lab samples, nurse consults, assisting in theatre, general cleaning duties and some reception work. There will be the potential to assist with future training of Veterinary Care Assistants and Student Veterinary Students. CPD is actively encouraged and opportunities to develop in other areas too. This is a full-time role; early shifts are 8.15am to 4.15pm and late shifts are 11.15am to 7.15pm, plus 1:4 Saturdays 9am to 4pm and no out of hours.

About Us

Shipley Veterinary Centre are a friendly practice on the edge of the Yorkshire dales, only 20 minutes from Leeds City Centre. We are well equipped with an ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house lab, laparoscopy, and endoscopy. Our team consists of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Veterinary Care Assistants, 3 Receptionists and 2 Admin staff.
