Registered Veterinary Nurse

Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us full time. The position is five days a week, each being eight hours shifts between 7.30am and 10.30pm (late duty). Weekends on a rota but no out of hours or phones. All nurses assist with procedures, undertake radiography, take nurse consults, provide nursing care to hospitalised/inpatients. In house training in supporting laparoscopy is provided.

About Us

We are an established, friendly and supportive practice in North Hertfordshire with direct main line rail to London. We are a very experienced team including several certificate holders, full RVN team and support staff with a strong team ethos. Equipment/service includes laparoscopy, digital radiography and comprehensive in-house lab.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic registered veterinary nurse who is looking to develop their skills and use their skills to the full. This position would suit a newly qualified nurse or returner. CPD is actively encouraged and funded. All existing nurses in the team are RVN's with a wide range of experience.
