The Role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or 2year Student Veterinary Nurse to join our existing team of 5 RVN’s, 1 VCA, 6 vets and an amazing team of receptionists at our purpose-built Hospital in Laurencekirk.
The role will involve general Nursing duties, including but not limited to, admission and discharge of animals, inpatient care of day and hospitalised patients, administration of medications, placing of IVs, taking bloods and monitoring anaesthetics.
We provide our clients with our own out of hours so you will see a variety of critical and emergency cases. Nurse Clinics are encouraged.

About Us

We are a busy first opinion small animal practice. Our modern fully equipped hospital has digital and dental radiography, laboratory, ultrasound, ECG and endoscopy. We have forward thinking Clinical Directors who are keen for nurses to be nurses.
Laurencekirk, Aberdeenshire is close to the mountains and the sea, which is great for outdoor pursuits.

Applicant Requirements

You will be a newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse or confident second year SVN. You will be an active team player with great communication skills. Lots of support will be provide, we just ask you to bring your enthusiasm!
