The Role
We are looking for a part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to become part of our nursing team. Your normal duties will entail providing high standards of care for our inpatients, monitoring anaesthetics in theatre, carrying out nurse consultations and clinics, performing lab work and covering operations at branch surgeries when needed. Details of working days are detailed below.
• Fridays and one other weekday (shift patterns cover hours between 8am-7pm)
• 1 in 5 Saturday mornings
• Hours can be flexible for the right candidate
• No OOH (as we are a host practice for Vets Now)
About Us
We have a fantastic team of friendly vets and nurses with regular breaks built into the day. We see an interesting and varied caseload. Our inpatients stay on site due to being a Vets Now host practice. We perform laparoscopic spays in house as well as most orthopaedic procedures. We also have a visiting cardiologist, ultrasonographer, dermatologist, soft tissue surgeon and orthopaedic surgeon as necessary.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with previous experience. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing high standards of care for patients from admit to discharge. The suitable candidate will have experience in all aspects of nursing including inpatient care, theatre and lab work.
