The Role

We are in search of more passionate, hard-working and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurses for Swift Referrals. The role is varied and would involve assisting with medical and surgical cases, monitoring anaesthetics and helping with in-patient care. Cleaning tasks would also need to be undertaken including cleaning theatres, autoclaving surgical instruments and setting up for the next day.

About Us

We are a referral practice that opened in October 2019. We have specialists in Orthopaedics, Soft tissue and Internal medicine. We house some of the most advanced equipment in Europe, including a Siemens 128 slice CT scanner and a Siemens 1.5T Aera MRI scanner. This equipment can facilitate a quick and accurate diagnosis of a pet’s condition. We have a team of 28 nurses and a dedicated group of night nurses.

Applicant Requirements

We are a busy referral centre where high quality nursing is championed. All levels of ability considered as the right attitude is most desirable attribute required. Whilst we continue to grow and restructure our team, we would also be interested to speak to nurses looking for part time or full time roles. We would be keen to take on RVNs with either medical or surgical bias, or those still wanting a varied role before deciding which route to take.
