Job Description

The Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse you will be required to assist the veterinary surgeons and head nurse in the day to day running of the practice. This includes; patient and client care, performing a range of nurse clinics, assisting Veterinary Surgeons with surgery, anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests alongside day to day nursing tasks. You will be required to work 40 hours per week which includes 1:5 weekends. OOH is provided by Vets Now.

About Us

Thanet Vets (with a consulting branch in Birchington) is located by the sea. We are a modern and well-equipped practice supporting 5.5 Vets, 5 RVNs (including yourself) and 2 SVNs. We have up to date equipment including; digital x-ray and dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and a fully equipped in house laboratory.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly RVN to join our team. Clinical coaching experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given. Newly qualified RVNs will also be considered for this role. The successful candidate will aid us in giving continued excellent customer and patient care and help to train and nurture students into confident RVNs.
