The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly nursing team. The role will primarily include a wide variety of surgical and medicine cases, inpatient care and nursing clinics. There may be the odd shift on Reception, but we do have a dedicated reception team for this. The Registered Veterinary Nurse will be required to support the SVNs during their training. 40 hour weeks with no OOH, 8 hour daily shifts (7:30am-7:30pm as per rota), 1 night inpatient duties a week and 1 in 5 Saturdays (plus inpatient duties with a VS as and when needed).

About Us

We are a busy, small animal, first opinion practice in the heart of Lincolnshire. Our small team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by 1 RVN, 2 SVN, 2 Patient Care Assistants and a dedicated reception team. The practice is well equipped with modern equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, Idexx blood machine including coagulation, blood pressure machines and pulse ox.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with ideally some post qualification experience, clinical coach experience or willing to train as a clinical coach to support the students in their studies. Experience in assisting in theatre and monitoring GAs. Handling and triaging of emergency cases would be an advantage.
