The Role
We are looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse who has an interest in working within a busy small animal clinic. This is a full time position (5 days a week) with 1:3 Saturday mornings and no OOH. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work well under pressure and enjoys a varied workload. You will also carry out your RVN duties in consults, theatre & reception shifts to ensure the growth of the clinic. Being a clinical coach is an advantage as we actively training a number of SVN within this branch.
About Us
We are a 100% small animal practice in the small welsh town of Blackwood in South Wales. We are a busy clinic with a varied caseload. We have a good selection of modern equipment within our clinic which includes modern in-house laboratory equipment, X-ray and dental X-ray unit and ultrasound. We also have access to endoscope and k-Laser within our group. We have 3 consulting rooms, one of which is dedicated to cat consultations and has its own cat waiting area.
Applicant Requirements
We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is up to date with their CPD hours. An understanding of the RCVS Practice Standards scheme is beneficial as we also encourage our RVN's to use their training to the full advantage and carry out schedule 3 procedures. As we actively encourage student training, holding a clinical coach award is essential or the willing to train required.
