Registered Veterinary Nurse required to join a forward thinking friendly team at the Ealing branch of Alcombe Veterinary Surgery. You will be working alongside the Head Nurse to support our three veterinary surgeons providing high quality patient focused care to our community based surgery in West London. This is a part time position working 3 days a week with 1:3 Saturdays (with time off in lieu). No OOH. We encourage our nurses to utilise all their skills from running nurse clinics, anaesthetic monitoring, caring for hospitalised day patients including i/v fluid set up and maintenance and the taking and running of laboratory samples to stock ordering and general administrative tasks.
We are ideally situated in West London with excellent transport links to London and for wider travel. We have a well-equipped surgery to include digital x-ray machine, ultrasound and multi parameter anaesthetic monitoring. You will enjoy working in an environment where your ideas are always valued and you are fully appreciated as part of the practice team.
This position would suit a recent graduate but also suitable for a more experienced candidate. The ideal candidate would be willing to mentor our student veterinary nurse as there would be a possibility to train as a clinical coach.
