The Role

Registered Veterinary Nurse required to join a forward thinking friendly team at the Ealing branch of Alcombe Veterinary Surgery. You will be working alongside the Head Nurse to support our three veterinary surgeons providing high quality patient focused care to our community based surgery in West London. This is a part time position working 3 days a week with 1:3 Saturdays (with time off in lieu). No OOH. We encourage our nurses to utilise all their skills from running nurse clinics, anaesthetic monitoring, caring for hospitalised day patients including i/v fluid set up and maintenance and the taking and running of laboratory samples to stock ordering and general administrative tasks.

We have a well-equipped surgery to include digital x-ray machine, ultrasound and multi parameter anaesthetic monitoring. Applicant Requirements

This position would suit a recent graduate but also suitable for a more experienced candidate. The ideal candidate would be willing to mentor our student veterinary nurse as there would be a possibility to train as a clinical coach. The ability to work under own initiative whilst being part of a team is essential.
