The Role
We are looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team! The successful applicant will work a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday with shared Saturday and weekend rota. All general nursing duties to be undertaken including anaesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, radiography, in house lab testing. Nurse consults include weight management etc with scope to expand the variety of consults available to our clients. Candidates are expected to maintain high clinical standards and undertake infection control and equipment maintenance. This role does include weekend/night/OOH shifts where all the real excitement happens on a rota basis.

Inshes Vets is a well-established, centrally located practice with access to the Highlands and Islands on your doorstep. We are a busy first opinion small animal practice, seeing a varied caseload. Our team consists of 5 FT Vets, 2 PT Vets, 8 nurses and a large reception and support team. As a small animal general practice under PSS we have a full range of in-house lab equipment, digital x-ray including dental x-ray in our dental suite, endoscope, ultrasound, ECG and modern nurse led Hydrotherapy suite with treadmill. We are a professional team, but we do like our cakes/biscuits so good cake makers given extra consideration.

The successful applicant will be qualified and registered with the RCVS. Those recently qualified are welcome to apply. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and organized team player with a high standard of patient care. You should have great communication skills and be passionate at promoting preventative health care in patients.
