Job Description

The Role

A Practice Manager position, covering maternity leave, has recently become available. As Practice Manager, you will have full responsibility of the day-to-day operation of the non-clinical aspects of the practice, including; managing and implementing HR policies for all staff, overall responsibility for finance (e.g. banking, reports, payroll, supplying regular analytical data to Head Office), managing non-clinical staff members – including recruitment, training and development, ensuring Practice Standards are maintained, marketing and promotions, ensuring the smooth running of the practice and client relations.

Applicant Requirements

Previous experience of veterinary practice management is preferable, but demonstration of strong leadership and communication skills are a priority. Knowledge of HR legislation, payroll/basic book-keeping, experience in marketing/practice promotion and computer literacy are also beneficial. A successful candidate would be a progressive, organised, forward thinking individual, with a desire to always keep driving the practice forwards.
