The Role

We are looking for a Part Time Practice Manager to join our fun, fast paced, first opinion small animal practice. The practice manager will work alongside the Clinical Director to help the practice run effectively and smoothly. As a practice manager you will have responsibility for the day-to-day operation of non-clinical aspects of the practice. Including: ensuring practice standards are maintained, supplying regular data to head office, finance, payroll, HR, banking, report, marketing, Debt management, and more. You will provide support to staff on the ground floor, with an open door and kind, friendly, approachable manner. Our fantastic hands on clinical and support team keep themselves busy are hardworking and super dedicated. The team are a dream to work with.

About Us

We are a no appointment practice, with 3 set surgery times per day. The team are a busy, jolly, fast paced, down to earth bunch. We have 2 vets, one of whom is clinical director. We also have a growing team of 6 nursing and support staff. We do when time allows to go for a social pub meal or quiz night as and when we can. We have faithful clients who return time after time. New clients are forever growing and are mainly directed to us via word of mouth. We have digital x-ray facilities, in house blood machine and soon to arrive ultrasound scanner. Our practice may look small on the outside, but it is a Tardis with a huge heart on the inside.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a manager who is organised, approachable and confident. Excellent communication and organisation skills. Veterinary experience is preferable but not a necessity. You will be computer literate and have experience of spreadsheets.
