The Role

Joining our national network of veterinary surgeons at Medivet offers you exceptional opportunities to practice gold-standard veterinary medicine in a supportive and caring environment.

We are seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join our lovely Langley practice in Slough.

This role will work 2-days per week, approx. 16 hours. Package dependent on experience including housing, vehicle and CPD allowance pro-rata plus RCVS, VDS and BVA membership.

The friendly team at Medivet Langley provides exceptional care to the pets of Langley and surrounding areas (including Iver, Datchet, Windsor and West Drayton). We are seeking someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Small Animal practice and will be comfortable working both sole charge and within a team.

Key Accountabilities

Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team.

Skills and Experience

The Branch

The successful candidate will work closely with the Branch Partner to drive the practice forward, working alongside a Head Nurse and two Patient Care Assistants.

The practice has been awarded a Silver Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic Award from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM). It provides exceptional veterinary care to Langley and surrounding areas including dedicated cat clinics and puppy socialisation classes.

Medivet Langley feeds into our 24-hr hospital in Watford for all out of hour care.
