About the role
As a Night Nurse at Swift Referrals you would be working alongside a Veterinary Surgeon, an RVN and an Animal Care Assistant, as well as back shift nurses. The night teams work closely with all our teams to ensure high standards of care are provided around the clock to our patients.

The role would be to work 40.25 hours per week, with a set shift pattern of Wednesday – Friday week one then Wednesday -Saturday week two alternating.

The role is varied but would involve mainly in-patient care for post-surgical cases, medical cases, and ICU cases. It may also include assisting with emergency medical and surgical cases arriving later in the day, as well as monitoring anaesthetics and helping with advanced imaging.

We house some of the most advanced equipment in Europe, including a Siemens 128 slice CT scanner and a Siemens 1.5T Aera MRI scanner and accept referrals in orthopaedics, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and neurology.

Applicant requirements

Post-graduation experience would be preferable. We feel the right attitude is key for a successful candidate and you must have a can do attitude and work well as part of a dedicated team.
