The Role

Our 24 hour centre in Hendon is just one of 20 across the country that supports our practice network in the region. Here you’ll find everything you need to deliver exceptional care, from a professional and passionate team to extraordinary facilities, such as high spec ultrasound and a software system that enables truly continuous exceptional care, that’s always there.

This role offers a salary of £32,167-£33,358 per annum depending on experience. £300 CPD allowance plus CPD leave, RCVS, BVNA membership. 17.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Key Accountabilities

Joining the team in Hendon, one of our 24 hour Veterinary Hospitals at the heart of our national network, you’ll bring your passion for delivering exceptional emergency critical care to work as part of a supportive community who work as one team.

Joining the team as an RCVS Registered Nurse, you’ll bring experience gained in a similarly busy, dynamic environment and have a strong passion for ECC nursing. You’ll also be keen to bring your ideas to work, helping us to deliver outstanding levels of care for your patients and clients. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you’ll also have great communication skills and a confident, can do approach.

The Branch

Medivet 24 Hour Hendon is a bustling hospital which sees a large volume of emergency cases. It houses an MRI/CT unit and so treats many interesting neurology, medicine, surgical and other cases.

The successful candidate will be joining a large team of 7 permanent vets and large volume of mobile and referring vets on any given day, including certificate holders or those currently undertaking a certificate.

They are supported by a dedicated CT/MRI vet and nurse, 10 nurses and 5 care assistants. Additionally, Hendon 24hr is equipped with endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital x-ray, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, in-house bloods and much more! The group is also supported by it’s own pet blood bank, laboratory as well as other services.

It supports Medivet clinics in all of Northwest London but also the whole of Southern England, with interesting and complicated cases.
