The Role

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity as a Registered Veterinary Nurse?

We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual with a strong passion for animal care and welfare to join us as a Mobile Registered Veterinary Nurse who will support our Southend region.

This role will be based at Medivet 24 Hour Southend and will support surrounding practices in the area.

The ideal candidate should enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required. You should have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and should be happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

The successful nurse will become a Clinical Coach for our student veterinary nurses and Patient Care Assistants in the practices that they will support. Therefore, ideal candidates will have some experience of clinical coaching and/or providing mentorship.

This role covers 40 hours a week. There are a fair share of weekends included in the shift pattern for this role.

Skills and Experience

You must be a registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS

As this is a mobile role, a full driver’s license is essential.

The Branch

This role will support our Southend region and the rota will reflect the needs of the region e.g. you may be covering a couple of the practices for one week. This will be communicated accordingly.

The practices in our Southend region include: 24-Hour Southend, Basildon, Laindon, Rayleigh, Chelmsford, Danbury, Hockley, South Woodham, Wickford.
