Station Street Veterinary Clinic has a permanent position for a mixed veterinarian. We are a genuinely mixed practice seeing approximately 40% equine, 40% small animals, and 20% cattle and other farm animals.

We have a strong emphasis on practicing a high level of medicine for all species and take pride in the quality of service we offer. Our consulting times are generous allowing cases to be investigated and we encourage use of further diagnostics. We have a fully equipped in house laboratory including Idexx blood machines, equine mobile radiography unit, ultrasound, and endoscope, as well as all the usual toys you would expect in a highly professional and motivated veterinary clinic. Our nurses are an asset to the clinic. We employ fully qualified nurses who are always there to help and have a wealth of experience in both small and large animal nursing. We are both a professional and social team and normally sit down to eat lunch together.

Station Street Veterinary Clinic is in an ideal location to support hobbies and interests outside of work with beautiful beaches, Melbourne’s iconic CBD, ski fields and mountains all close by. To allow plenty of time to pursue hobbies outside work our vets enjoy a 4-day working week with 8.5hr shifts and a 1 in 4 on call roster. As well as one day off per week we also offer a comprehensive employment package including two mental health days per annum, generous CPD allowance and provide a custom built veterinary vehicle for your sole use.
