The Role

We are currently looking for a Medicine/Oncology Nurse to join our friendly team in Ringwood, Hampshire. This is a full-time role working an average of 40 hours per week over 5 days with a 1:5 weekend and time off in lieu of weekend shift. As a Medicine/Oncology Nurse you will be involved in the daily case management of Internal Medicine and Oncology patients. This includes assisting with anaesthesia, diagnostic and medical procedures (inclusive of endoscopy) and medical interventional procedures such as bronchial and tracheal stent placement. You will also be involved in the preparation and administration of chemotherapeutic agents. In addition to the aforementioned, you will also be involved in the provision of nursing care to hospitalised medical patients along with one-to-one ICU care and blood transfusion medicine. Applicants must possess a keen interest in diagnostic procedures and medical management of cases with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Applicant Requirements

Applicants should have a strong interest in internal medicine with one year experience post qualification. Applicants must be registered with the RCVS.
