Critter Care Veterinary Services, a 3-doctor small animal practice located 1 hour southwest of the Chicago metropolitan area in Plano, is searching for our next teammate to accomplish our goal of nurturing the human-animal bond. Our practice is located inside a renovated barn on a road set back far enough to give you the feel of being in the country side, all while being only 5 minutes from the city!

Do you have an interest in holistic care? We offer Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Laser Therapy in addition to services that range from Preventative and Wellness to advanced procedures. We have the ability to expand our practice and are looking for someone that has an interest in exotics, equine and/or Reproduction. We have the resources and equipment readily available. We also have a horse farm directly in our back yard and consider ourselves a progressive practice, and also offer tele-medicine.

Our goal is to practice the highest quality of medicine through progressive and thoughtful medical care for our patients, and client education. We strive to work within client constraints and focus on providing exceptional, empathetic customer service. We empower each other with trust and respect in an open, fun and family oriented environment.

We have great practice hours that can offer a supported home-work life balance!

  • Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday/Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays until 12:00 p.m.
  • Closed on Sundays and Holidays

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed
  • Special interest in advanced surgery, holistic medicine, and/or orthopedics – preferred, not required
  • Some equine or exotics experience – preferred, not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills through charting and client interactions
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
  • Stays current on new medical information and changes to veterinary medicine
